DELIVERING ROOFSCAPES THAT IMPROVE LIVES

Our relationship with the car is changing for the better but it will not happen immediately. It is a long term project in even the smartest of cities. We will still need areas to park near new mass transit infrastructure, to store, re-charge and have accessibility. The roof space offer solutions for all of the above and more, and Zoontjens has the international expertise to deliver these.

DO SUDS CUT IT WHEN IT COMES TO THE MANAGEMENT OF HIGHWAY RUNOFF?

Jo Bradley will consider the level of pollution from highway runoff and then describe how well-designed SuDS can manage that runoff. She will illustrate the important elements of the design and show some examples of designs that haven’t worked so well that we can all learn from them. Jo goes out in the rain a lot, to get samples of highway runoff so that you don’t have to! She will share some of the results from those samples and set out what the pollution means for river health.
